- Signal Testing and Physical Verification:
- Conducting all signal tests between field-installed instruments and equipment, and control systems such as control, emergency shutdown (ESD), machine monitoring systems (MMS), fire and gas detection, and other control/shutdown systems.
- Physically testing and exposing the instruments to actual process conditions and reporting the results.
- Functional Testing and Logic Verification:
- Performing the necessary functional tests to ensure the systems operate correctly post-field testing.
- Conducting all emergency shutdown logic and reliability tests according to the Cause and Effect (C&E) diagrams.
- Testing and verifying process control logics to ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshooting and Smooth Commissioning:
- Addressing and resolving any issues that arise during the commissioning of the factory/unit/system to ensure smooth and effective commissioning.
